About The Position
AAR Corp. is seeking a qualified Aircraft A&P Lead to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position requires an experienced A&P maintenance professional or veteran with a valid FAA Airframe certification. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of aviation maintenance experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience. The Aircraft A&P Lead will be responsible for establishing work priorities and supervising a team of up to 15 mechanics, ensuring that all work performed adheres to high-quality standards and complies with FAA regulations. The role involves using FAA-approved data proficiently, performing heavy maintenance tasks without supervision, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with FAA and company requirements. The Aircraft A&P Lead will also monitor and complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery of aircraft, read and follow technical publications, and utilize basic computer applications and programs. This position requires adherence to a flexible work schedule, with shifts typically ranging from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 5:30 am to 4:00 pm for the first shift, and 3:30 pm to 12:00 am or 3:30 pm to 2:00 am for the second shift. Candidates who demonstrate flexibility in their availability will be preferred.
