As one of the largest non-government Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) in the world, Serco is committed to delivering safe and efficient air traffic control services for small and medium regional airports, as well as the largest commercial air hub globally. Our ATCS professionals play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace, adhering to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays due to traffic congestion. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport. This includes answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft, issuing landing and takeoff instructions, and providing critical information such as runway usage, wind velocity, visibility, and taxiing instructions. You will also perform critical weather observations as a Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) observer, disseminating timely weather information to pilots and other air traffic control facilities. Additionally, you will operate various equipment including radios, radar systems, and weather equipment, and coordinate with airport personnel to ensure the safety and efficiency of air traffic operations. Serco values professional development and offers opportunities for growth within the organization. If you are an experienced Air Traffic Controller with a prior tower certification or credential, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated team that prioritizes customer service and safety.
