About The Position

This position supports air service development initiatives at Memphis International Airport by conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting with marketing efforts to retain existing and attract new air service to the airport, including domestic, international, general aviation, passenger, and cargo services. Monitors and sustains awareness of airport's capacities by tracking airline schedules, fares, capacity, industry developments and master plans. Develops and maintains database and prepares regular performance reports. Supports relationships with airlines, tourism boards, chamber of commerce, and other community stakeholders. Supports outreach and marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business, Public Administration, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• 3 years' experience in aviation, air service development or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with database and business intelligence software.
• Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Knowledgeable of airline industry trends, economics, and route planning.
• Understanding of principles of route service development for passenger and cargo services.
• Familiarity with air carrier operating models, route structures, and alliances.
• Knowledge of aircraft performance and airport operational capabilities.
• Understanding of air transportation data collection and reporting standards.
