About The Position

The Air Freight Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day air freight operations across import, export, and domestic transport activities. This role focuses on accurate documentation, timely coordination, and compliance with regulations while assisting senior team members in delivering efficient and reliable service.

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience in air freight or logistics operations (entry-level candidates with relevant training may be considered).
• Basic understanding of customs and aviation regulations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to freight systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn and take on varied operational tasks.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist with booking air shipments and preparing documentation such as air waybills and customs forms.
• Enter shipment details into internal systems and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor shipment status and update stakeholders as directed by senior staff.
• Coordinate basic cargo pick-up and delivery arrangements under supervision.
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and transport providers for routine operational needs.
• Respond to standard customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior coordinators or managers.
• Support invoicing and administrative tasks related to air freight jobs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and assist with regulatory requirements under guidance.
