About The Position

The ADG Training Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining a high level of individual knowledge and expertise in instructional system design, task analysis, instructional technique and quality assurance to support the creation and maintenance of Air Dangerous Goods training programs. This position is responsible for specific tasks such as: Develop modernized methods for evaluating Trainers and the overall quality of the training program. Analyze exam scores for training enhancements or exam question clarity Create dashboards and tools for trend analysis Facilitate collaborative discussions with ADG Training staff and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist in maintaining the Air Dangerous Goods (ADG) training program. Conduct Dangerous Goods Train-the-Trainer qualification courses and other dangerous goods training courses. This position is part of the team who collaboratively manages the internal materials provided on the hazardous material (hazmat) website to provide accurate, reliable and current hazmat information to employees.

Requirements

  • Experience evaluating or assessing Instructors/Trainers and/or the overall quality of a training program
  • Experience creating and/or facilitating training
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience reading and understanding regulations.
  • Have a broad understanding of UPS Package, Air Cargo, Air Freight and Airline operations
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dangerous goods regulations (49CFR/ICAO / IATA).
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline.
  • College degree in Instructional Design or related subject
  • Experience creating reports or managing courses in UPS LMS (Training Station)
