About The Position

The Air Concierge position at Modern Aviation is focused on delivering exceptional customer service to passengers and flight crews at the Executive Terminal and Aircraft Parking Ramp. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with their needs, and ensuring a smooth experience during their arrival and departure. The Air Concierge will work closely with the management team to address customer inquiries and operational issues promptly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in aviation/business preferred.
• Minimum of two years in a customer service representative or line service technician position.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an airport security background check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Customer service and/or line service experience required.
• Ability to learn and understand safety procedures and possible hazards on the airfield.
• Ability to learn and use various computer software and Point of Sale systems.
• Good communication skills, including written, verbal, and radio communications.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make operational decisions when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of aviation acronyms and the phonetic alphabet.

Responsibilities

• Meeting, greeting, and welcoming passengers and flight crews of customer aircraft.
• Directing customers to the terminal facility for facility use or to meet guests picking them up.
• Positioning rental vehicles to meet arriving aircraft for customer convenience.
• Assisting with the offloading of luggage/baggage.
• Escorting customer vehicles on and off the airfield when necessary.
• Assisting flight crews with service needs, including baggage and transportation assistance.
• Directing flight crews to the terminal for fuel or service orders.
• Assisting flight crews with trash removal and cleaning of the aircraft interior when requested.
• Ensuring all fuel and service orders for departure are completed on time.
• Assisting with loading luggage from transportation vehicles into the aircraft.
• Returning rental vehicles from the aircraft parking ramp to the vehicle parking area.
• Assisting fellow teammates when not servicing customers.
• Thanking customers for their business and welcoming them back.
• Assisting with improving Best Practices for Excellent Customer Service.
