About The Position

The Ramp/Warehouse Agent at WFS plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe handling of cargo and baggage at airport locations. This position involves loading and unloading various types of cargo, transporting materials between terminals and aircraft, and performing routine cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors. The agent must comply with security procedures and maintain a high level of safety while operating in a dynamic airport environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft.
• Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.
• Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required.
• Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material at designated locations.
• Clean and service cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories.
• Drain lavatories and check, handle, assemble, remove, and install passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and racking both filled and empty drums.
• De-ice aircraft and clear aircraft windshields.
• Push out/tow aircraft and perform related guide man functions.
• Connect/remove ground power and ground start units.
• Clean the exterior of aircraft with specialized cleaning fluids as needed.
• Monitor security of the facility and report any breaches or suspicious occurrences.
