About The Position

The Air C2 Systems Engineer (SysAd) is a senior systems engineer responsible for leading teams in providing technical support and expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Air C2 systems. The individual defines and organizes engineering activities, develops solutions to complex technical problems, and manages resources to accomplish multiple project goals. This role requires leadership skills, extensive technical expertise in aviation C2 systems, and the ability to mentor others.

Requirements

• Five years' experience as a systems engineer.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field.
• Two years' experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Air C2 systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS.
• Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems (desired).
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory (desired).
• Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching (desired).
• CompTIA Security+ certification (desired).
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) (desired).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (desired).
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (desired).
