About The Position

The Answers, Knowledge, and Intelligence team is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain core infrastructure powering on-device search technologies across Apple's ecosystem. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Swift, Objective-C, or C++
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
• Proficiency in automating workflows and deployment tasks
• Capable of analyzing and debugging large-scale systems and datasets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing for Apple platforms
• Familiarity with profiling tools and performance optimization techniques
• Background in search, indexing, or natural language processing technologies
• Experience working on privacy-preserving infrastructure and on-device ML
