You will guide teams operating in one of the most dynamic high-performance computing environments, handling petabytes of data and millions of queries per second. As Engineering Manager for the Search and Knowledge Quality team, you will be responsible for leading the development of the ranking and retrieval technologies that power question answering and search across Apple products. You will guide your team in designing and evolving large-scale machine learning and data systems applied to graph data, web documents, and diverse structured and unstructured data sources. In this role, you will collaborate with world-renowned experts in large-scale data management, machine learning systems, and knowledge extraction, driving advancements in question answering and search, as well as the underlying ranking and retrieval technologies. You will set technical direction, foster deep cross-functional collaboration, and deliver products that delight users daily while significantly impacting how information is accessed and applied across Apple's ecosystem. Your leadership will ensure that our search and knowledge experiences continue to evolve, enabling products that feel effortless, responsive, and deeply useful for hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
