Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The AIM-9X Sidewinder Missile and JSOW programs are seeking an additional Proposal Manager to join the team. This position is a key member of the AIM-9X team and will have responsibility for providing compliant, on-time proposals and assisting with Risk and Opportunity Management. This is a complex and varied program, this Proposal Manager will be required to coordinate a large volume of proposal activity across Production, Sustainment, Development, Integration, and International. This role will work closely with Requirements and Capabilities to manage New Business Investment (NBI). There will be coordination across all functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, and Finance) required to ensure proposal deadlines are met. This role will join a very talented team with a strong, positive program culture. It will be important that this person contributes to that positive program culture. This is an onsite position at our Tucson, Arizona facility. Relocation assistance is NOT available currently

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years’ experience
Prior program/project management experience
Prior experience in proposal development
Prior experience in leading and managing
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Program Management Level 3 or Level 4 Certified or ability to achieve certification within 1 year
Demonstrated understanding of TINA compliance
Experience in estimating or Supply Chain processes
Understanding of the DoD acquisition process
Experience with the internal Raytheon proposal process and tools
Strong understanding of Foreign Military Sales and the exportability requirements
Understanding and experience with international customer acquisition, budgeting, export policy, and offset process
Demonstrated understanding of engineering design, discipline, processes, and development execution
Experience with large scale production programs
Leadership experience to include developing and mentoring others
Experience and demonstrated success managing change
Ability to focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward the teams, enabling them to achieve desired results

Responsibilities

Lead on-time and compliant responses for critical multi-year/high volume procurement production proposals for the AIM-9X future
Lead on-time and compliant responses for complex development, integration, and international proposals
Support management of New Business Investment (NBI)
Support Program Managers/Capture Managers with proposal strategy development
Support Risk and Opportunity Management for Execution in Production and Development
