About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the physical therapy staff by assisting with routine operational tasks. This part-time position involves preparing treatment equipment, assisting patients with mobility challenges, and performing various administrative duties to ensure a smooth workflow in the therapy environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer/client orientation.
• Ability to understand and follow directions effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist them in reaching treatment areas.
• Set up treatment equipment and change linens as needed.
• Clean therapy rooms and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Provide patients with information regarding treatments and evaluations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for physical therapy supplies.
• Ensure treatment rooms and gym spaces comply with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Establish and enforce standards and procedures for a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
