Requirements
- College hours, high school diploma or GED
- Communicate and work with students
- Maintain effective working relationships
- Minimum clerical skills
- Good physical and emotional condition
- Work with confidential material
- Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed
- Additional Qualification for Title I Campus: College hours, 48 minimum or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test or HQ Certificate from another district
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with the preparation, implementation, and data collection of student academic, behavioral, and functional goals, accommodations, modifications, and delivery of supports
- Deliver accommodations, modifications, and other supports to students with special education services in whole group, small group, or individually, as described in the IEP.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and behavioral plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidential student records.
