About The Position
The Aide for Special Education (SPED) at North Cache Middle is a part-time role designed to support students with emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is integral to a multidisciplinary special education team, focusing on the design and implementation of functional assessments and behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs. The Aide will work closely with both regular and special education teachers to ensure that students receive the appropriate support and resources necessary for their success in the classroom. The role requires a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of student information in accordance with state and federal guidelines, ensuring that all interactions and data handling are conducted with the utmost professionalism and respect for student privacy. In this position, the Aide will be responsible for collecting and recording data as specified in each student's behavior intervention plan. This data collection is crucial for monitoring student progress and making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies. The Aide will also provide assistance to classroom teachers as directed, contributing to a collaborative educational environment that fosters learning and growth for all students. The start date for this position is as soon as possible, and it offers up to 29 hours of work per week at a competitive pay rate of $15.61, depending on experience.
