About The Position

The position is for an Educational Aide II at Belton ISD. Applicants must ensure that all required documents are submitted with their application. Requirements

• Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, or obtained an Associate's (or higher) Degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
• High school graduate or hold a GED certificate.
• Two years of experience as an educational aide I or 15 semester hours of college credit in child growth and development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with students or parents.
• Proficiency in a specialized skill area as determined by the local school district.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing students in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Support classroom management and handle volatile situations.
• Provide necessary documentation to satisfy ESSA requirements.
• Meet SBEC Certification Requirements for Educational Aide II.
