About The Position

The Dietary Aide at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in providing food service assistance within the nursing center, ensuring that the dining needs of patients and residents are met in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards. This position is essential for maintaining a high standard of care and service in the long-term care industry, contributing to the overall well-being of the community served.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients/residents and visitors.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle food and equipment according to all policies and procedures.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts.
• Set up meal trays and work meal tray line position.
• Prepare snacks and beverages in between meals.
