About The Position
Assist Cosmetology teacher as directed with day-to-day classroom operations and teaching duties in the classroom and salon laboratory area.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Cosmetology Operator's License
- Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- ESSA Criteria (2 years of study at an institution of higher education; an Associate degree or higher; or can pass a formal academic paraprofessional assessment)
- 1-2 years of cosmetology, salon or beauty/barber school experience
- Passion for student-centered learning and student success
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
