About The Position

St Bridget of Kildare Catholic School is seeking a compassionate and dependable Teacher’s Aide to support classroom instruction and provide assistance to teachers and students in a Christ-centered learning environment. The Teacher’s Aide helps facilitate daily classroom operations, promotes student engagement, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and faith-filled atmosphere aligned with Catholic values.

Requirements

• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass background checks and complete diocesan Safe Environment training

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom activities.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, lunchroom, playground, or other school settings as assigned.
• Help maintain a clean, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor student behavior and support school rules and teacher expectations.
• Encourage and model Christian values and behaviors in line with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Respect confidentiality in matters related to students and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as copying, filing, and organizing supplies.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development as required.
