The primary purpose of this position is to assist campus administration, teachers, and staff with a variety of behavioral support duties, including assisting with the supervision of In-School Suspension (ISS). The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local policies and procedures, and participation in planned in-services and professional growth activities. The paraprofessional will assist in carrying out a behavioral program for students, model and coach students with behavioral challenges, and maintain strict discipline to provide a controlled atmosphere for learning.
