About The Position

We are seeking an AI Workforce Specialist Sales Manager (West Region) to lead transformative initiatives that accelerate AI, Business Solutions, and Modern Work adoption that delivers measurable business value for customers in the State & Local Government and Education (SLED) sector. In this strategic leadership role, you will help set the vision for AI Workforce solutions, leveraging market intelligence and analytics to identify opportunities, forecast trends, and align strategies with customer priorities. You will mentor and lead a team that engages in engaging senior stakeholders and decision makers, deepening relationships and driving high-value opportunities. This role oversees the development and implementation of sales strategies tailored to SLED customers, ensuring secure, scalable, and impactful transformations. You will guide sales strategy, manage pipeline reviews, and utilize forecasting tools to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. As a thought leader, you will influence corporate leadership, foster partnerships, and champion best-practice sharing across regions. In addition to driving business growth, you will coach and develop high-performing teams, promoting employee growth and delivering exceptional results. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years solution or services sales experience.
  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • Microsoft is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the role’s job duties.

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Champion adherence to sales frameworks and AI-enhanced methodologies to qualify and advance high-value opportunities.
  • Orchestrate complex deals across internal teams ensuring seamless handoffs and risk mitigation.
  • Coach teams to tailor strategies to customer security priorities, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Strengthen partner relationships to activate co-selling strategies and accelerate value realization at scale.

  • Oversee pipeline reviews and forecasting accuracy using AI-powered analytics.
  • Ensure pipeline hygiene and monitor usage trends to drive adoption, expansion, and predictable renewals.
  • Develop territory insights leveraging AI-driven predictive analytics to align initiatives with customer priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions that advance customer business objectives.
  • Lead AI- and cloud-driven transformation strategies, positioning offerings to differentiate in the market.
  • Conduct whitespace analysis and refine market intelligence methodologies to identify growth opportunities.
