About The Position

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Test Engineer will be part of a team of experts providing support in cyber analysis and cyber development capabilities for Navy's and DoD's needs in Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense. The program scope includes identifying cyber key terrain through operational requirements analysis, conducting cyber analyses and assessments, and developing and performing modeling and simulation for various cyber threat scenarios. The team will identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, determine mission and operational impacts, and recommend mitigations. Additionally, support involves developing methodology and framework for the cyber risk assessment life cycle. The team will provide capabilities for rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance, and operation of specific software and hardware to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and an Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Three (3) years direct experience in designing and implementing quality control standards for tactical software testing of Navy or Joint Programs
Experience working on custom development software projects
Experience working with DoD customers
Experience testing application capabilities that leverage AI
Specifically, testing in a manner that is not hard-coded to the same inputs yielding the same outputs
Experience with non-deterministic testing such as: Mutation testing, Performance testing, Acceptance testing, Range, threshold, and objective testing
Experience with system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies
Experience working with software development teams
Experience participating in requirements and design reviews, developing test plans, writing and executing test cases in a fast-paced software development environment
Experience conducting data analysis, data verification and problem-solving
Experience with statistical reporting and analysis
Expertise in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Unix/Linux, PERL, Java script) and relational database technologies (SQL, schema design)
Ability to work as a member of a self-organizing team without daily direct supervision
Ability to communicate effectively within a large, dynamic team environment
Willingness to try new things and grow
