About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Technical Advisor to support a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will work closely with Intelligence Community (IC) government customers and IT developers to technically advise on AI practices based on experience and real-world considerations. This position will serve as a senior technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME), facilitating stakeholder decision-making, policy, and governance pertaining to current and emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's and 8 (eight) years or more of related experience; Master's and six (6) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• Proven experience in establishing AI governance documents for existing and emerging AI technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with various IC partners on information sharing and policy development.
• Experience in at least one of the following fields: AI system development, AI architecture, AI policy, AI security, AI legal policy, and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical advisory support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring best practices in AI strategy development and governance.
• Serve as the SME on AI technologies, including AI architecture, development, ethics, and legal aspects of AI and emerging technologies.
• Translate highly technical AI concepts into comprehensive governance documents.
• Engage and collaborate with various IC partners, including non-DoD IC elements, to facilitate information sharing and policy development.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, recommend necessary improvements, and proactively contribute to the achievement of the customer’s vision.
• Conduct trend analyses and provide insights on current and emerging AI technologies to inform policy and governance decisions.
• Create high-level and highly technical documents on AI policy and governance, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
