About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an AI/ML Systems Engineer. This is a contingent hire for a full-time client facing position supporting a government agency. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Three (3) or more years of relevant IC or DoD financial experience
• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively complex systems design, acquisition, and test experience
• Active TS/SCI

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in systems or electrical engineering preferred.
• Systems Engineering certification from INCOSE or DAWIA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in AI/ML preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply systems engineering products and analyses to support requirement development, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of AI/ML capabilities.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models using given datasets and customer requirements.
• Test and develop machine learning that meet or exceed desired performance evaluation metrics.
• Utilize understanding of the concepts of supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, model evaluation metrics, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Monitor model performance in production environments to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable model performance.
• Develop AI/ML concept plans, including requirements and conceptual planning.
• Assist in the design and development of AI algorithms.
• Conduct technology trade studies to research, analyze, and evaluate various options, documenting results to determine the best value solution for specific problems
• Perform engineering investigations of considerable complexity to resolve technical issues
• Review literature, patents, and current practices to inform solutions for assigned projects
