The Center for a New American Security (CNAS), an independent, bipartisan research institution dedicated to developing strong, principled, and pragmatic national security and defense policy prescriptions for a wide audience of security experts, practitioners, and citizens, seeks one AI Systems Coordinator for summer 2026 to support its Director of Operations and business teams in identifying and solving operational challenges through the application of artificial intelligence tools and workflows. This temporary summer position (June-August 2026) is designed to give an early-career AI practitioner hands-on experience applying AI solutions in a real-world nonprofit and policy environment and includes a stipend of $3,500 per month. This is not an AI policy research position.
