About The Position

The AI Solutions Engineer plays a key role in building, scaling, and sustaining AI solutions that enable the business to leverage its existing knowledge and data more effectively. This role focuses on low-code or no-code AI agent development using platforms such as Copilot Studio, with an emphasis on knowledge-based use cases, reusable utility agents, repeatable patterns, and strong adoption across the organization. In addition to building new agents, this role is responsible for maintaining and improving an existing fleet of AI agents over time. This role manages a diverse portfolio of agent types including customer care agents, autonomous workflow agents, HR support agents (job leveling, benefits, survey analysis), and utility agents. Strong technical writing and documentation skills are essential for creating comprehensive agent documentation that enables knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability. The AI Solutions Engineer partners closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and data contributors to ensure solutions are designed with high-quality data, clear documentation, and long-term sustainability in mind.

  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering and conversational AI concepts.
  • Experience with Python scripting, YAML configuration, and AWS cloud services for automation and integration workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Power Automate for building flows that integrate with AI agents, including document generation, data manipulation, and cross-system orchestration.
  • Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement AI agents using low-code platforms such as Copilot Studio, with a strong focus on prompt engineering and conversational design.
  • Research novel low/no-code platforms and design, document, and disseminate best practices for agentic development using low/no-code platforms.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all AI agents, including instruction sets, integration maps, security compliance documentation, testing procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability.
  • Maintain and support the existing AI agent fleet, including instruction set refinements, knowledge source updates, security group management, performance optimization, and production incident response.
  • Conduct UAT coordination, quarterly business reviews, and implement rollback procedures when needed.
  • Participate in the full solution lifecycle, including solution design, build, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
  • Integrate AI agents with enterprise data sources using Power Platform connectors, Power Automate Flows, agent-to-agent calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and API-based integrations where appropriate.
  • Configure and manage security controls including O365 security groups, multi-tier access models (SharePoint + security group), PII redaction logic, and data classification compliance.
  • Ensure agents meet internal security and privacy requirements for handling confidential employee data.
  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders during discovery and intake phases to help define use cases, assess complexity, and set realistic expectations.
  • Advise teams on data integrity, documentation structure, and knowledge readiness to ensure content is suitable for AI-driven solutions.
