About The Position

As an AI Security Researcher for our AI Software & Platform team, you will be responsible for leading efforts focused on conducting threat research on existing and emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. You will assess the risk and impact of threats and communicate findings to cross-functional teams and customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with AI Defense product and engineering teams to translate threat intelligence and research into new detection and protection capabilities. Engaging with the broader AI security research community to share knowledge and insights and participating in conferences and workshops to represent the organization will also be part of your role. You will author blog posts alongside product marketing, including an AI Threat Intelligence round up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years or Master's degree with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years of experience in machine learning and AI research or threat research.
• 3+ years of experience in threat research, threat intelligence, threat hunting, threat modeling, or red teaming.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and/or information security.
• Work or academic experience in AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI/ML security risks.
• Python / Go / programming or scripting familiarity.
• Experience in event investigation at scale, including the ability to triage large volumes of data using tools such as Snowflake and open datasets.
• The capacity to think critically and tackle complex, innovative problems in the field.
• A willingness to continuously learn and adapt, crucial in the ever-evolving field of AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
