About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI Security Analyst in United States. This role offers the chance to lead AI-specific security efforts within a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS environment. You will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with AI use, particularly generative AI and large language models, across internal tools and customer-facing platforms. Partnering with engineering, product, privacy, and compliance teams, you will implement guardrails, monitor AI deployments, and support risk assessments, ensuring secure and responsible AI adoption. The position blends traditional security operations with AI risk management, giving you broad visibility and impact across the organization. This is an ideal role for a security professional passionate about emerging AI risks, compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in information security, security operations, application security, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, architectures, and common risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
  • Experience supporting compliance and audit activities (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, legal, and privacy teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows or enhance decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience securing AI/LLM applications
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001)
  • Background in SOC operations or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate AI-specific security threats, including prompt injection, adversarial inputs, data leakage, model misuse, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to review AI use cases, conduct risk assessments, and recommend controls prior to production deployment.
  • Evaluate third-party AI vendors and services for security posture and compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce technical and policy-based guardrails for responsible AI use.
  • Support AI-related incident response, investigations, and post-incident analysis.
  • Perform security operations monitoring across cloud, application, and AI-enabled systems, enhancing detection rules and logging for AI activity.
  • Contribute to audit readiness and compliance activities, supporting SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO standards, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
  • Educate stakeholders on AI risks, best practices, and secure usage patterns to enable innovation while maintaining safety.
