Thomson Reuters Labs is looking for a Technical Product Manager focused on AI and search technology development. This role involves driving the design and implementation of robust search applications, collaborating closely with product and domain experts to create innovative solutions that meet user needs. The position emphasizes user-centric design and the integration of human-in-the-loop technology in the development lifecycle, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of legal research tools.

  • Own the roadmap for internal tooling that enables efficient evaluation of search and Gen AI features.
  • Work with stakeholders to define scope, determine feasibility, and translate business objectives into technical requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to create resource plans and ensure effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Communicate and provide technical guidance to partner product teams throughout the model development lifecycle.
  • Balance cost, time to market, and resourcing to optimize iterative value delivery for customers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in technical product development, focusing on applied AI research and end-to-end delivery of AI products.
  • Experience with search evaluation methodology and practices such as A/B testing and optimizing search experiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Experience with agile project management and scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, utilizing data to inform decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance trade-offs in technologies and execution strategies.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in the legal or tax domain.
  • Familiarity with user experience research methodologies.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing techniques.
