About The Position

AI has changed software development. Security hasn't caught up – until now. Corridor is changing the game of product security, giving developers the ability to secure their AI coding. Our team works at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. Collectively, we've led security at some of the world’s largest companies, driven cybersecurity policy efforts in the US government, and worked on open models in government and academia. We're hiring an AI Research Lead to own and drive Corridor's AI direction. This is a technical leadership role: you'll set our AI agenda, collaborate and build the team, publish work that advances the field, and ship tools and systems that power our core product. You'll help build out the best team in the world at the intersection between AI and cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Research track record: You’ve published research in ML/AI in fields relative to Corridor’s work (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, security venues, or equivalent)
  • Applied experience: You've shipped AI systems to production. You will be writing code!
  • Relevant domain expertise: You have experience in code generation, program analysis, or cybersecurity
  • Self-directed: You can identify high-impact problems and execute without heavy oversight
  • Leadership: You’re excited to build and lead a team and have experience doing so

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LLM-powered code generation or multi-agent systems
  • Open source contributions or public technical writing
  • Experience with RL environments, fine-tuning, or model evaluation pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Lead Corridor’s AI research efforts in code understanding, vulnerability detection, and agentic security systems
  • Publish research that establishes Corridor as a leader at the intersection of AI and security
  • Build and ship production AI systems – from development to deployment
  • Define the technical roadmap for our AI capabilities
  • Recruit and mentor a world-class AI research team
  • Collaborate and initiate partnerships with top AI researchers and frontier labs
  • Collaborate with our AI advisory board (researchers from Stanford and leading AI labs). Some of our angels include Russell Kaplan (Cognition), Thomas Wolf (HuggingFace), Jonathan Frankle (Databricks), Mike Krieger (Anthropic).
