About The Position
Meta is seeking an AI Policy Manager to join our Privacy and Data Strategy Policy team, focusing on the development of policies surrounding artificial intelligence (AI). This role is pivotal in shaping the company's approach to AI across its suite of products and services. The team is dedicated to creating innovative strategies that enhance user experience while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and promoting fairness, accountability, and transparency in AI and machine learning (ML). As an AI Policy Manager, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to integrate responsible AI practices into Meta's offerings. In this position, you will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding Meta's global policy team on AI-related issues and responding to legislative and regulatory developments. Your responsibilities will include preparing executive briefs for leadership, engaging with policymakers, and synthesizing technical and policy knowledge into actionable product documentation. You will also be responsible for bridging the gap between AI policy developments and the business priorities of Meta, ensuring that our products align with global regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI, privacy, and fairness, along with the ability to navigate the complex regulatory landscape.
