About The Position

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an AI/ML Lead Engineer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The AI/ML Lead Engineer is a senior-level professional with expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, model development, and operationalization. The AI/ML Lead Engineer designs, develops, and deploys scalable AI/ML systems, providing technical leadership, mentoring teams, and defining best practices for model development, deployment, and optimization, focusing on end-to-end lifecycles from research to production, often involving generative AI, NLP, or computer vision, and ensuring alignment with business goals and responsible AI principles. Requirements

Education and/or Experience: advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and at least 8 years of experience in AI/ML implementation
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Certifications: o SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), o SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), and/or o SAFe DevOps Practitioner (SDP)
Travel: Must be available for worldwide assignment based on mission needs at government-specified locations, including CCMD environments.
