AI/ML Engineering Intern – Model Evaluation, Scalability & Agentic AI
About The Position
As an intern in the AI and Modeling Center of Excellence, you will work on projects that ensure our AI models are accurate, scalable, extensible, and leverage Agentic AI capabilities for next-generation semiconductor inspection and analytics platforms. You will: Evaluate AI Models: Assess correctness, robustness, and performance using industry-standard metrics. Scalability Testing: Design and execute stress tests for large datasets and high-throughput inference environments. Extensibility Analysis: Explore modular architectures and frameworks to integrate new features without retraining from scratch. Assist in developing autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows. Build scripts and dashboards for benchmarking and monitoring. Collaborate with engineering teams on integration and deployment.
Requirements
- Requires less than 1 year of related experience
Nice To Haves
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience with Python, ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with Agentic AI tools (LangChain, AutoGen) and LLM orchestration.
- Basic knowledge of MLOps and cloud platforms.
- Coursework or projects in AI agents, model evaluation, or workflow automation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
