Cognizant is seeking an AI / ML Engineer to lead the technical aspects of projects focused on Claim Automation. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of advanced AI solutions that streamline and automate the claims process. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to develop scalable and efficient architectures, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Lead the design and development of machine learning models and algorithms for claim automation.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of deep learning and neural network architectures.
  • Utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for automating claim processing.
  • Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to enhance claim automation solutions.
  • Architect and deploy solutions on AWS Cloud using services like Sagemaker, S3, Lambda, and Cloudwatch.
  • Develop and maintain serverless architectures for claim automation.
  • Work with Knowledge Graphs and SPARQL, specifically using AWS Neptune, to manage claim data.
  • Design and manage relational databases using RDS and PostgreSQL.
  • Write efficient and maintainable code in Python.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing.
  • Ensure the security and scalability of claim automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Neural Networks.

  • Proficiency in AWS Cloud services, including Sagemaker, S3, Lambda, and Cloudwatch.
