This role is to support the hands-on development and support for developing an Agentic AI system. with existing data platforms. The role will focus on building a MCP, integrating with multiple data sources, front and back-end development and integration with enterprise services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in Python or React
- Experience deploying containerized microservices or AI models
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Kubernetes environment
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embedding models and RAG architectures
- Experience with AI frameworks like Google ADK, LiteLLM or similar tools
- Knowledge of planning algorithms and autonomous systems
- Ability to think critically about AI safety and alignment challenges
- Passion for building AI systems that genuinely augment human capabilities
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agentic AI system and workflow that can break down complex mission tasks into manageable steps
- Develop retrieval pipelines (metadata indexing, embeddings, hybrid search).
- Package the system into deployable services.
- Develops agent tools and skills.
- Implement APIs, microservices, and backend logic.
- Optimize query routing, caching, and grounding strategies.
- Integrate authentication, authorization, and auditing.
- Develop mechanisms for agents to reason about their environment and make intelligent decisions
- Create frameworks for multi-agent collaboration and communication
- Build robust evaluation systems to measure agent performance and reliability
