About The Position

We are currently looking for an AI/ML Engineer in the United States. In this role, you will design, implement, and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for real-world autonomous systems across land, air, sea, and space platforms. You will work with a team to develop scalable models, optimize inference on edge devices, and ensure robust integration with hardware and software systems. This position involves hands-on development, cross-functional collaboration, and direct interaction with end users to refine and demonstrate AI capabilities in operational environments. You will contribute across the full ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and labeling to model training, evaluation, and deployment. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and are passionate about advancing AI technology in mission-critical applications.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant experience in simulation, machine learning, and ML infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in PyTorch for training ML models on multi-machine, multi-GPU systems.
  • Strong Python skills; proficiency in C++ is highly desirable.
  • Experience deploying ML models to edge devices and optimizing inference.
  • Solid understanding of sensor physics and sensor parameters across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate coding and testing.
  • Experience with software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
  • Ability to handle large datasets, adapt quickly to new software and algorithms, and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for hardware/software integration and demonstrations (10–20% travel).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Computer Vision or Machine Learning.
  • Experience with Transformers on edge devices.
  • Experience with simulation engines like Unreal Engine or NVIDIA Omniverse.
