As an AI/ML driven ASIC Design and Implementation Automation Engineer in our Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) organization, you will work in a dynamic environment to develop methodology, flows and tools to improve efficiency and quality of results (power, performance, area, and quality) for SoC and IP development teams across the organization. You'll be working with a team of automation experts to architect, design and develop state-of-the-art AI/ML CAD techniques as a part of VLSI CAD SW tools and flows, by applying your AI/ML expertise, programming skills, and leveraging existing internal and external EDA SW tools and libraries. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with Architecture, IP design, SoC Design, Verification, Implementation and Design Enablement teams to drive new ways of working, improvements to current ways of working, addressing design quality challenges and continuously improve NXP Semiconductors design, verification and implementation flows. While developing these new ways of working, successful candidates will be working on actual designs and implementation to pilot and develop the automation. Successful candidates will utilize their skills in AI/ML CAD Software development to identify organizational needs and deliver creative solutions based on those needs.
