About The Position

Among our flagship products are SafePath, a connected life platform seamlessly integrating individuals with the digital facets of their daily routines, whether at home or on the go; CommSuite, a voice services platform enhancing voice messaging with intelligence and additional functionalities; and ViewSpot, a digital retail platform enhancing in-store devices with captivating experiences. This is a hybrid internship position set to begin in late May or June, lasting for 12 weeks. Summer interns will work 30-40 hours per week, with four (4) days in the office.

Requirements

  • Located within 20 miles of the office with reliable transportation to work in-office four (4) days weekly.
  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th-year student in a Marketing, Business, or related program with a focus on Digital Marketing or AI in Marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online research.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in marketing (such as AI-powered social listening platforms or marketing automation tools) and marketing tech stacks (CRM, automation tools, etc.) and knowledge and experience using Google Analytics (GA$), Tag Manager and Looker Studio is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with an interest in applying AI to marketing data and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to create campaigns and assets using AI tools to assist with launch and ongoing marketing activities.
  • Utilize AI-driven analytics to interpret consumer behavior, track campaign performance, and provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI, including budget tracking and allocation.
  • Leverage AI tools to perform market research on competitors, competitor offerings, and emerging market demographics.
  • Collaborate with the team to use AI for generating, testing, and refining marketing copy, visuals and other assets for the Smith Micro Brand, ensuring brand voice is clear.
