SAIC is seeking a AI Machine Learning Engineer to help transition to new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, modernizing current collection processes. In this role you will be expected to train machine learning models and provide support for the productization and development of AI-based systems for use as part of the Customer's collection mechanisms. This Customer Office is the force of choice for the development of global infrastructure and delivery of solutions that drive influence operations. This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelors in computer science, information systems, or a related field and 9 years or more experience; Masters and 7 years or more experience ; PhD or JD and 4 years or more experience
Demonstrated experience with the ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions
Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
Demonstrated, in-depth experience and knowledge of machine learning tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, and Tensorflow
Extensive math and computer science skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
Ability to program in AI/ML specific languages, such as Python, Jav, C++, and Conda
Experience training AI models, as well as in integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software architectures

Experience implementing secure AI solutions in the Intelligence Community
Ability to work with highly sensitive data sets
Experience in leading AI/ML initiatives
In-depth knowledge of implementing ETL (Enhance/Transform/Load) pipeline
In-depth knowledge in implementing solutions in Amazon Web Services

Responsibilities

Train machine learning models in a variety of ways, to meet a variety of functions, including but not limited to: Synthesis of code to be used for automated webscrapes.
Automation of other functions related to webscrapes.
Detection and “self-healing” of scrapes.
Automated visual detection of object types (like types of vehicles, license plates, etc.) within video data.
Automated review and analysis of terms of service of companies.
Automating open source collection of data that could be used to train AI/ML systems and models.
Provide Model training based on training data that may need to be acquired from other components.
Create complete AI-based systems, which may include multiple inputs, models, human-review processes and outputs ETL processes and databases.
Provide Productization and development of AI-bases systems for use as part of collection mechanisms.
Provide support to operational elements that are using these systems including break fix work and software updates.
Research AL/ML technologies in open source to ensure that applicable cutting edge technologies and capabilities are being brought to bear on Sponsor efforts.
Support the efforts to collaborate with other elements across the Sponsor and community that are engaged in AI efforts.
Frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions.
Develop and support scalable and secure functionality into software applications, focusing on integrating and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and logic into the deliverables of an IT project.
Understand business objectives and develop models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track progress.
Derive insights and analytic narratives from data and visualizations for effective storytelling and clear communication in response to specific research questions.
Analyze technology trends related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and their strategic implications.
Perform independent technical research in relevant areas; robotics, autonomy, software, engineering, data analysis.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand and assess business requirements and define AI solutions to align with architectural framework and meet business needs.
Program a system to look for or seek out specific conditions and respond based on those factors.
