About The Position

Job Summary: The Experienced Associate, AI Jr Business Analyst, within the AI Innovation team in BDO Government Services, supports clients and internal teams in discovery, process automation, testing, and end-user adoption of our AI solutions. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role assists with gathering business requirements, performing market research, documenting current and future-state processes, preparing project communications, executing functional testing, and supporting user training activities. The incumbent helps monitor trends in AI, digital transformation, and cloud-based applications, and contributes to continuous product and process enhancements. This role also assists in collecting client feedback, tracking project updates, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the refinement of business processes and technology solutions based on evolving user needs. Job Duties: Works with AI & Innovation team to establish scope, deliverables, and resource requirements Assists with developing and executing comprehensive data and AI strategies to enhance customer experiences Conducts market research and gathers customer insights to drive product development Documents user stories in product backlogs and performs regular backlog grooming for AI capabilities Collaborates with engineering teams to design, build, and refine AI-driven features and capabilities Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product vision alignment and drive successful execution Measures product performance and identifies opportunities for optimization and growth Implements metrics and KPIs to track the success of AI initiatives Articulates value proposition of new AI and technology features to stakeholders and prepares presentations for senior leaders Develops domain knowledge across various service lines (government services, energy, healthcare, etc.) Supports communication of project milestones to stakeholders ensuring updates are clear, accurate, and timely Helps track multiple priorities, commitments, and projects using Agile practices Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to drive adoption of new solutions Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) or more years of experience in data and/or AI technology business analysis or product management, required; OR High School Diploma/GED and twelve (12) or more years of experience in data and/or AI technology business analysis or product management, required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in data, technology, or STEM, preferred
Experience as an Agile practitioner collaborating across multi-disciplinary pods, preferred
Previous hands-on experience with value stream mapping, preferred
Experience with roadmap prioritization and communicating benefits of new technology, preferred
Experience with Lean Six Sigma and business process re-engineering, preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred
Experience with AI/ML solutions, digital applications, and modern cloud-based platforms, preferred
Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Aha!, or Azure DevOps), preferred

Responsibilities
