About The Position

OpusClip is seeking a full-stack, AI-native Engineer who combines strong product sense with scrappy 0→1 engineering skills to drive product-led growth. You will join a fresh team in the Palo Alto office focusing on the Agent Opus platform - a leading agentic video generation product. You will work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams daily to rush prototype, beta, and production versions of this disruptive product. By deeply understanding our end users, you will co-innovate with some of the world’s top social media creators and enterprise teams to validate AI agents that deliver 100x outcomes compared to the pre-AI era. We’re looking for someone self-driven, highly efficient, and impact-obsessed, who thrives in a fast-paced, experimental environment.

Requirements

• Full-Stack Generalist: Must perform as a highly efficient generalist with strong engineering skills across both front-end (React) and server-side (NodeJS, GCP, etc.). Fast learner and self-starter.
• Hacker Spirit: A strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience in rapidly growing startups. Good judgment on when to hack and when to craft. You believe that speed is key and quality follows later.
• Combat Mentality: You dare to set ambitious goals and deadlines, working hard and smart. You resonate with the combat spirit to win (think F1 Movie) and treat challenges like a sport.
• AI Native & Product Sense: Deeply understand creators, care passionately about end users, and possess strong product sense. Must be comfortable working at a frontier AI company.
• Global Collaboration: Open to having 1–2 evening meetings per week with Asia-based senior engineers. In-person return-to-office in Palo Alto is required.

• Familiarity with growth marketing and distribution strategies (SEO, social, integrations)
• A background in building small, high-leverage tools or side projects
• Strong mobile skills (Swift/Kotlin).

Responsibilities

• Build & Ship: Rapidly build and ship scrappy 0→1 solutions across multiple tech stacks to capture growth opportunities.
• SOTA Exploration: Collaborate closely with AI Researchers to explore the boundaries of State-of-the-Art (SOTA) models and brainstorm novel ways to leverage them within the Agent Opus platform.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Spend ~30% of your time on iterative work driven by a strong growth mindset, identifying and capitalizing on new user expansion avenues.
• Daily Alignment: Work cross-functionally with growth marketers, product managers, and data teams on a daily basis to align on priorities, define metrics, and land measurable impact.
• Operational Execution: Dedicate ~30% of your time to supportive operational tasks, including SEO initiatives, Ads execution, B2B leads sourcing, and answering critical data questions.
• Influence & Advocate: Serve as a strong communicator who can advocate for ideas, drive alignment across global teams, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
