AI Governance Lead We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to architect and scale our enterprise-wide AI governance program. In this strategic and highly visible role, you will shape how the ACE organization responsibly designs, implements, and monitors AI technologies—balancing innovation with transparency, compliance, and risk management. This role partners closely with Legal, Privacy & Compliance, Information Security, IT, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Risk to build a modern governance ecosystem that meets evolving regulatory, industry, and ethical expectations. What You’ll Do Lead & Operationalize Enterprise AI Governance Build and mature the organization’s AI governance function. Develop and continuously enhance the company’s Responsible AI Governance Framework. Implement governance processes across the full AI lifecycle—from use‑case intake to validation, approval, deployment, and continuous monitoring. Ensure Responsible, Compliant, and Transparent AI Define governance approaches for internal models, third‑party AI, GenAI tools, and customer‑facing solutions. Translate regulatory and industry requirements into actionable policies, controls, standards, and procedures. Conduct and oversee enterprise-wide AI risk assessments. Lead AI testing, validation, explainability, fairness/bias reviews, documentation, and monitoring activities. Strengthen Organizational Readiness & Collaboration Support AI Review Board operations and decision‑making. Maintain an enterprise inventory of AI models, risks, controls, and exceptions. Serve as a trusted advisor on AI governance topics, escalations, and policy interpretations. Develop and scale an AI Champion Network across business units. Advance Tools, Enablement & Risk Insights Develop templates, playbooks, policies, and guidance that strengthen AI governance practices Evaluate and support AI governance technologies (model inventory, bias detection, lifecycle workflows, compliance automation). Build a centralized knowledge base of best practices, training, and resources. Define KPIs and dashboards to measure adoption, risk posture, and control effectiveness. Produce regular reporting on AI compliance, issues, and emerging risks. Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations What You’ll Need 5+ years in AI governance, data governance, technology risk, compliance, or model governance. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model types, performance metrics, explainability, bias/fairness, drift, and documentation. Proven ability to interpret and apply AI‑related regulatory and industry frameworks. Demonstrated collaboration across highly regulated or risk‑sensitive environments. Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex technical and regulatory concepts for business leaders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field 7–10+ years combined experience in governance, risk, AI/ML operations, compliance, or technology program management. Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred. Familiarity with AI/ML tooling such as SHAP, LIME, model monitoring platforms, and governance automation tools. Relevant certifications in AI governance, risk, or compliance are a plus. Experience presenting to senior leaders, risk committees, or regulatory bodies. #LI-SJ1 The starting pay range for this position is: $132,600.00 - $176,900.00 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. .
