AI Governance Engr
About The Position
The AI Governance Engineer ensures the safe, effective, and ethical deployment of AI/ML across the FHSC system. This role operationalizes the governance framework for the full AI lifecycle, conducts technical due diligence of internal and external AI systems, and establishes robust post-implementation monitoring and auditing to safeguard patient care, regulatory compliance, and institutional integrity. The engineer partners closely with clinical leaders, data scientists, IT, Legal, Compliance, Safety/Risk, and Procurement to embed responsible AI practices in both vendor and in-house solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science Or
- Bachelor's Degree Data Science Or
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering Or
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field
- License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State And/Or
- Certification And/Or
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) Or
- Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) Or
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Or
- Certified AI Governance Professional (CAIGP) ? Or
- Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) Or
- Certified AI Governance Specialist (CAIGS) Or
- Certified AI Governance & Compliance Specialist (CAIG&CS)
- 3–6 years of experience in AI/ML model validation, technical risk management, or governance in a regulated environment.
- Professional certification in risk, privacy, audit, or AI governance required
