This role operates within an AI-augmented POD model, leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining accountability for code quality, system stability, and production outcomes. The AI-First Senior Engineer works autonomously on complex engineering tasks, contributes to continuous system learning, and supports a human-on-the-loop operating model where AI executes within defined guardrails.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong skills in modern programming languages and cloud-native development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Production support experience
• Experience in telecom, network systems, or large-scale enterprises
• Exposure to modernization, SRE, or platform engineering practices
• Familiarity with regulated or security-first environments

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, modernizing, and supporting systems where AI is embedded directly into the engineering and operational lifecycle
• Operating within an AI-augmented POD model, leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining accountability for code quality, system stability, and production outcomes
• Working autonomously on complex engineering tasks
• Contributing to continuous system learning
• Supporting a human-on-the-loop operating model where AI executes within defined guardrails
• Uses AI tools across backlog refinement, coding, refactoring, testing, and diagnostics
• Apply human judgment to validate or override AI recommendations
• Provide feedback to improve AI accuracy and usefulness
