About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on AI Filmmaker / Technical Gen AI Pipeline Expert to help us explore the future of filmmaking through generative tools. We’re interested in leveraging AI to improve and augment our current video production process as well as create full GEN AI only productions. Equal parts art director, filmmaker, creative technologist, and technical Gen AI pipeline expert, you’ll work with our creative and production team to concept, pitch, and produce content and visual storytelling pieces that use AI to enhance creativity and efficiency across production, post-production, and ideation. This is a Full-time, ideal for someone who’s obsessed with innovation, storytelling, and finding new ways to bring ideas to life through technology. Our office is located in Los Angeles. While we are a remote-first company, hybrid weekly in-office or on set presence in Los Angeles will be required to collaborate with leadership and cross departments.

Requirements

Experience: Deep expertise in generative AI content creation, with a proven ability to craft high-quality, visually compelling short-form work. Blends creative direction, design, and post-production sensibility, with a passion for using AI tools to push creative boundaries.
AI Expertise: Proven experience using AI video, image, and storytelling tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Sora, Midjourney, ComfyUI, ElevenLabs).
Filmmaking Background: Understanding the full production process from concept to delivery. Strong grasp of storytelling, marketing, and advertising aesthetics.
Design & Motion Fluency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) and other design tools.
Advertising Focus: Passion for advertising, marketing, and social content with a strong sense of current trends and brand storytelling.
Creative Thinking: Ability to ideate, pitch, and produce innovative visual concepts that merge creativity and technology.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a flexible, experimental mindset.

Nice To Haves

Background in 3D, Unreal Engine, or virtual production environments.
Familiarity with short-form content strategy and social platform trends (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
Previous experience working in creative studios, agencies, or production companies.

Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Concepting: Develop bold, visually driven ideas for branded and social campaigns, leveraging AI to create new forms of storytelling and experimentation.
AI-Driven Production: Use generative tools (e.g., Veo 3, Runway, Pika, Sora, Midjourney, Leonardo.ai) to create animatics, storyboards, concept films, and short-form content.
Pitch Development: Partner with Creative Directors and Producers to craft visually compelling AI-enhanced pitch materials and proof-of-concept videos.
Art Direction & Design: Oversee look development and visual tone for AI-generated content. Use strong design sensibility to guide framing, lighting, and composition.
Storyboarding & Previz: Create visual references, animatics, and mockups using AI tools to support client presentations and creative development.
Workflow Integration: Help integrate Gen AI software and tools into the creative, production and post-production pipeline, improving speed, experimentation, and output quality.
Collaboration: Work across both Traditional and Interactive divisions, contributing to commercials, branded campaigns, and digital content, as well as cutting-edge UGC, gaming, and immersive experiences. Collaborate with creative, production, and interactive teams leveraging AI-driven software and workflows
R&D & Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging AI tools and trends in creative media. Propose and prototype new ways to use generative technology for storytelling and branded campaigns. Teach these new tools to our current team.
