About The Position

Daylit helps B2B companies get paid on time without damaging customer relationships. We built Receivables Intelligence—an AI-powered system that lives in Excel, tracks every invoice conversation across calls, emails, and texts, and knows exactly when and how to follow up with each customer. When payment isn't coming, it offers smart financing options like factoring, payment plans, or credit lines right in the workflow. We recently raised $110M in equity and debt led by Companyon Ventures and Nextview Ventures to expand our AI agents across verticals and help more finance teams operate with certainty. What You’ll Do Improve Partner Integration Interfaces & Backend Logic: Design and develop intuitive and efficient interfaces and robust backend services for partner integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange and workflow optimization Develop Reusable Component Library & Backend Services: Build and maintain a comprehensive, reusable component library (frontend) and backend services (API endpoints, data processing, etc.) to ensure consistency and efficiency across our applications Work on data pipelines and AI technologies for Credit Underwriting engine. Enhance Client Portal Experience: Implement user-centric enhancements to our client portal, focusing on improved usability, performance, and visual appeal, including both frontend and backend development Implement Frontend Build Optimizations & Backend Performance Improvements: Optimize frontend build processes to improve performance and reduce load times, leveraging modern build tools and techniques; optimize backend performance through efficient database queries, caching strategies, and code optimization Develop Full-Stack Testing Strategy: Establish and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for both frontend and backend, to ensure high-quality code and a stable user experience Design and Implement REST APIs: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems Database Management and Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries using SQL

Requirements

2-3 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in React and expertise in TypeScript.
Proficiency in Python, Django, Airflow for backend development
SQL skills for database management
Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) a plus
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) a plus
