About The Position

We are looking for a senior AI Engineer for a remote position with our client. This role will focus on hands-on engineering, working directly with stakeholders to architect and implement intelligent workflow solutions leveraging the Microsoft AI ecosystem. The initial engagement will involve collaborating closely to design and build the first set of automated and agent-driven workflows, with the opportunity to expand into a small engineering pod as the initiative scales. The ideal candidate is a builder who can reason through architecture decisions while also implementing solutions directly, and is comfortable operating in an iterative, fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on cloud-based applications or AI-enabled systems.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building solutions within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
  • Experience developing solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Experience integrating Azure AI services, including generative AI or agent-based systems.
  • Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, C#, or TypeScript.
  • Experience building and integrating APIs, workflow automation, and backend services.
  • Familiarity with telemetry, monitoring, and governance frameworks within enterprise cloud environments.
  • Ability to design architecture and implement solutions directly, balancing speed with scalability.
  • Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building AI agents, copilots, or LLM-powered automation workflows.
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or related generative AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform integrations across enterprise applications.
  • Experience implementing agent-driven or autonomous workflow systems.
  • Background working in marketing technology, enterprise workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows and intelligent agents that automate and enhance marketing operations.
  • Build and deploy solutions using Copilot-based agents and workflow automation tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Develop workflow orchestration and automation using Power Automate and related Microsoft platforms.
  • Implement AI-enabled capabilities leveraging Azure AI services and Azure AI Foundry where appropriate.
  • Integrate workflow solutions with existing telemetry, monitoring, and governance frameworks to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable automated workflows and agent-based solutions.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on workflow solutions in a scrappy, experimental build environment.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions regarding automation frameworks, agent design, and AI workflow orchestration.
  • Document designs, implementation patterns, and operational practices to support future scaling of the engineering team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • A competitive pay range of $150,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience).
