About The Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithm development, coding, data modeling, and data architecture, with a passion for applying innovative data science techniques to solve complex defense-related problems. As a Data Scientist Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and optimize processes.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance (interim OK)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
2-5 years of professional experience
Experience with many types of AI/ML modeling methods and algorithms for solving practical problems
Expertise with DoD related domains, such as cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or military operations
Proven experience in coding (Python, R, Java, etc.) and software development, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis
Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques
Experience with data architecture, database design, and data warehousing concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with just the right amount of guidance

Responsibilities

Apply AI/ML modeling techniques in solving many types of problems
Develop and design algorithmic solutions for automation projects
Design, develop, and implement data science solutions to address defense-related challenges
Utilize advanced coding skills to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large and complex datasets
Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights and make predictions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, gather relevant data, and define project objectives
Design and optimize data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient data storage, processing, and analysis
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and defense technology
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports
