About The Position

AI Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support enabling AI and AIOps solutions to mission customers. As an ML engineer on our systems integration team, you’ll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. In this role, you’ll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You’ll be part of a large community of ML engineers across the company and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to develop, deploy, and scale AI/ML applications and workloads. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting AI or ML workloads and data pipelines in AWS
  • Experience integrating LLMs or multimodal models into user-facing applications or workflow tools
  • Experience in natural language processing, LLMs, transformers, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code or standup of cloud-based infrastructure and platform services in AWS
  • Knowledge of developing ETL or ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion into vector and graph systems
  • Knowledge of APIs, cloud functions, and deployment pipelines
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoD 8170 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ Certification
  • Compliant Computing Environment Certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience integrating with third-party platforms, including Collibra, Tableau, and ServiceNow
  • 2+ years of experience working with modern AI capabilities in ML, including deep learning and LLM frameworks
  • Experience with AI-assisted development such as Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, or Claude Code
  • Experience with AWS AI-related services and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Experience working with cybersecurity teams to develop and review technical documentation and security control implementation required to achieve and maintain ATO
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree a plus
