About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Intern to help us build and refine our next-generation tax software platform. This role is perfect for a student or junior developer who wants to work at the intersection of AI integration, frontend refinement, and system architecture. You won’t just be watching from the sidelines; you’ll be building the connective tissue that allows our data to flow and our clients to succeed.

Requirements

• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, required.
• Problem Solvers: You enjoy figuring out why a data point didn't reach its destination or how to make a UI component more responsive.
• Detail Oriented: In the world of tax software, the little things matter. You take pride in clean code and bug-free releases.
• Adaptability: You’re comfortable working in an agile environment and can pivot as project needs evolve.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) and Cursor, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Systems Integration: Help connect our internal AI tools and databases to ensure data flows smoothly across complex workflows.
• Frontend Development: Build and refine reusable web components and screens for our client-facing portal, ensuring a crisp and intuitive user experience.
• Communication Architecture: Support the setup and logic of our internal messaging and email interfaces to keep clients and advisors in sync.
• Quality Assurance: Write unit/integration tests and hunt down bugs as new components are integrated into the ecosystem.
