The Autonomous Technology Group (ATG) at Daimler Truck is responsible for building autonomous trucks and plays a pivotal role in aligning with the company's strategic vision for both current innovation and long-term transformation. Autonomous driving is central to Daimler Truck's mission to reduce accidents and improve road safety, a long-standing priority for the company. Furthermore, the technology also promises significant operational cost reductions by optimizing logistics and reducing driver-related expenses. Autonomous trucking is not just a tech upgrade—it's a cornerstone of Daimler Truck's future as a mobility and logistics platform provider. By embedding autonomy into its core products and services, Daimler is positioning itself to lead in a rapidly evolving transportation landscape. Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
